For over two decades, MEA has offered low-interest loans for cost-effective energy efficiency projects. Currently, the Lawton Loan Program has funding available.

MEA won funding from U.S. DOE to research and document the role of energy efficiency "champions" in helping their organizations invest in energy efficiency.​​
